Excellent Stay, A Real Gem!

friendly staff awesome breakfast large room
I found the setting quiet, quite relaxing. The staff proved very friendly and helpful all the time. The breakfast was fantastic and really set me up for the day. The large room I stayed in had plenty of amenities, very well equipped.

the shower temperature was not controllable. it was almost unbearably hot. I did mention IT to the staff, BUT nothing was done to resolve it. also, there was a whirring noise ALL night from a ducted extractor fan.

The shower was difficult to control. The temperature was almost unbearably hot. Staff knew about it. A whirring noise persisted all night from a ducted extractor fan. I found this disturbing for sleep.

amazing team personable staff fresh fruit local pastries
the team was amazing, very accommodating and personable. i will definitely be back. plus, the breakfast included a variety of options, including fresh fruit and local pastries. the room was super clean and well kept!
the wine list seemed a bit pricey, especially the sauvignon blanc at £40 a bottle. only about 20 covers on a saturday night. maybe it is too expensive for the locals or just not good value.

The staff gave a very friendly welcome. They were super attentive. Our room included excellent tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. I found the breakfast fantastic. The chef came to check on our satisfaction.
